Katherine Paterson and Sturtz

Sturtz - NPR’s All Songs Considered described Sturtz as “a reassuring breath of fresh air that pulls me back to simpler times." The group is serene and folksy, with melodic vocals soaring over the lower string instrumentals. Sturtz released their second studio album Hyacinth in September 2024, and they're excited to be out touring on this album now. When they’re not playing music, you’ll probably find them milling flour, gardening, roasting coffee, or honing in their photography skills.

Katherine Paterson - Katherine Paterson is an award-winning, indie-folk singer/songwriter based in McKinney, TX. Paterson first began composing songs as gifts for far-flung companions. This evolved into a practice of creating music as a way to navigate life’s myriad moments–especially the more difficult ones. A homing beacon of sorts, Paterson’s music invites you to come find her among past selves, loved ones, grief, dreams, and plants. Her intimate storytelling is a direct result of her admiration for the songwriting craft of luminaries like Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile. She has performed internationally at The Bitter End, Deep Ellum Art Company, Loop Wien, and more. Winner of the 2025 Dallas Entertainment Award for "Best Songwriter," Paterson's music has been featured on KXT, KOOP, and various blogs.
